Welcome to the Specialty Housekeeping Blog. Let's talk about cleaning ... maybe not the most exciting topic, but one that most of us have to deal with. So how can we make it easy, quick, fun, and safe.



Easy --- we all have techniques that will help cut time ... like putting the drip pans from the stove in the dishwasher and letting the dishwasher do the work. I will share my findings here, and I hope you will too.



Quick --- is cleaning EVER quick? Sure, there are ways to cut time, and I hope we can exchange those tips here too.



Fun --- yep, I often turn tasks I dread into games to make them easier to do. One house I take care of is such a challenge that I consider it my bi-weekly super-charged exercise work-out. And around my own house, I bribe myself with treats to finish tasks I dread. What are your tricks to get the work done?



Safe --- the market is flooded with cleaning products these days ... and have you really looked at what is in those? What are you inhaling as you shine up the coffee table? Specialty Housekeeping is going green and looking for, and sharing recipes for safe, inexpensive cleaning products.
